Tech Surprise in My Tiny Little Hometown

On about the 4th or 5th day of my trip back home, I got frustrated with my parents dial-up internet and decided to check if any of the neighbors had an open wifi connection I could (all ethics aside) use to check my email. So, I turned on my iPhone, found one, and to my surprise Shock , it is available city-wide.

A little disappointed that it's not free (really disappointed at the listed prices), but hey, my hometown is tiny and it's way more than I ever expected.

After watching Jon Lajoie's latest Youtube video, I wanted to see if his music was available through Baidu's MP3 search. Being at work, I have access to proxies from all over the world, so I first started with my Chinese proxy and I got six of his songs available for download, for free (and I imagine without his consent).

However, after some updates, it got kind of difficult and less user friendly, so I started searching for an alternative. What I found is a nice little software called K3b.
