I had a great time while visiting friends and family in the US and I wanted to share some pictures of my trip.

It wasn't all fun though, the last day of my visit there was a nasty storm with a really powerful wet microburst that tore a branch from a 100+ year old pecan tree at my parents house. A branch with a 20 inch diameter (51 centimeters) landed on the roof of the neighboring business, punching a 6 inch hole in their roof and smashing their cooling system. A smaller branch, about 8 inches (20 centimeters) in diameter, landed on my dad's truck.

Overall, the trip was great. I love spending time with my family and friends (not to mention driving, eating food I like, and watching TV I can understand). These are just a handful of the pictures, I will post more in my Flickr account later.
