Windows XP Look-a-Like

As any of you who follow this website know, I really like Ubuntu Linux. So, when I read about Ylmf OS, I thought it was, as the company states, a good way to move people who are afraid of Linux, over to Linux. There's been quite a bit of scuttlebutt in regards to this (here, here, and here) and there's even an Ubuntu Forum dedicated to it. Anyway, I decided to download it and try the LiveCD and install it into a Virtual machine. It's pretty nice. It does look a lot like Windows XP (see below), but it's pure Ubuntu. The nicest thing about it, it supports most media right "out of the box." I only have 1 little complaint, I had to press F6 after the CD loaded and select the "noapic" mode to actually get the installation to work.

Anyway, here's some pics.

If what is stated over at OSNews is true, Microsoft isn't planning any action against Ylmf for the use of their GUI.
