I'm starting to think there's in an international conspiracy to keep me from going home to see my parents. Ok, I don't think it's a conspiracy, but it's really starting to piss me off. After all of the troubles I had with Travelocity, I was determined not to use their services again, so I tried Cheaptickets.com (part of Orbitz). I made the reservations for the same flight I had reserved with Travelocity and it turned out to be about $100 cheaper ... great.

On June 5, 2008, I wrote about a supervisor who was pushing me into a corner. I just found out that the supervisor that I like, I often disagree with, but like all the same, will be taking a different job at the company, and the boy who was pushing me into a corner is going to be taking his place.

It seems there are three hot topics in the world today, the economy, the environment and human rights. The US fueled housing market collapse has hit the hole world, and it has pushed the environment and human rights out of the spotlight. I, as an American, have a quick and easy fix for the US economy, the environment, and the human rights of the various people around the world.

I would really like to do some traveling this year. The list of places I want to go gets longer each time I sit down and think about it. This is my current list (listed in no particular order).

I'm not the most patriotic of Americans, but I do love my country and hate to see big-business destroying it. It seems that everyday I read the news, I see some big-business is investing millions or billions of dollars in some foreign country. Meanwhile, back home, the US unemployment rate is at 7.6%, which is higher than it's been since 1984, and the economy has been in recession since December of 2007.

I haven't written in a while cuz I haven't really found anything to write about. I'm not really an incredibly inventive or imaginative kind of guy, I usually just react (I guess that's not one of the greatest things to say about myself). I guess I just haven't found anything to react to lately, things hardly ever change.

Oh well, that's it for this post. I should be sleeping... going to go give that another shot.

For the '09 year, we were supposed to submit an action plan for ourselves to our manager. The manager set three goals, pretty basic stuff, and then asked us to add a few things to it before submitting the final to him. I just submitted the three goals he had preset with no additions. Yesterday, I had a little talk with my manager about my action plan for the '09 work year, he wondered why I didn't set myself any goals.
