I was checking up on some shows I like and when their next season would begin. Dexter is slated for a 5th season, but no news on IMDB or Showtime as to when, Smallville is still going on Season 9 with the next episode airing April 2, Spartacus: Blood and Sand is still going every Friday night on Showtime, and Defying Gravity has been canceled 
( "On October 22, 2009, TV Squad reported that the sets for Defying Gravity had been destroyed and that the series had been canceled earlier this fall (source)." After just 13 episodes, this show was given the axe, in fact, the last 4 episodes were never even shown in the US.
Now, all I can hope for is a movie follow up to fill in the gaps and finish the story like Serenity did for Firefly.
