Evening Walk - September 19, 2010

I did something I very rarely get to do, I went to the movies. Leo DiCrapio's Inception was the only movie in English, so that's what I watched. It was enjoyable and wasn't a bad movie at all, but the ending sucked ass. I won't go into details, just in case someone reading this is a DiCrapio fan ... and yes, I'm mis-spelling that on purpose. We watched the movie at Olympic Square's Wanda theater, which seems to be the only theater in town that still has spoken English movies, then went to the malls basement and did some grocerie shopping. After the shopping, there were no taxis to be found and all of the buses were full to the hilt. Lucky us, we were ready to head home about 45 minutes into the evening rush hour, this is where the walking came in. Between my backpack and 2 plastic bags, we were carrying about 10 pounds (about 4 kilograms) of groceries, not a lot when you're only going a few blocks, but we ended up walking over 7 kilometers (Uncle Jim, that's about 4.5 miles 8) ), that was quite the work out. Anyway, I'm home, but only for a few minutes, going to head back out to meet some friends and then get another walk in during the wee hours of the morning.
