A Nightmare ... No Really!

Yesterday, I woke up to a nightmare. It wasn't the scariest that I've ever had (once woke up to a purple, pink and green, midget witch chewing on my arm like a dog on a ham bone), but it was enough to yank me from my slumber with a jerk.

Ok, first, picture a mix between the ghostly pale kid with the huge mouth in the Grudge and Samara from the Ring. Then, picture my parents attic, dark, dusty, humid, no floors, just support beams and a lot of insulation (yah, the Pink Panther stuff).

Ok, next picture me, my sister, and a very young Megan Fox impersonator (like 7) going into this attic to look for something. For some reason, we went up and couldn't find it, but I thought we could find it if we went in from the other entrance, the one above the stairway to the basement (weird cuz the area above the stairway to the basement is only about 1 meter square and goes no where near the attic). So, we all head to the basement, and I lift both my sister and her young Megan Fox impersonator friend up into the "attic" entrance (another weird thing, I'm my current age and my sister is like 20 years younger). I soon join them only to be greated by Grumara (Grudge kid + Samara ... pretty clever, eh). The first thing Grumara does is throw my sister across the attic, I just watch (subconciously) and, surprisingly, keep right on sleeping (real world-ish. 'ish' cuz I am in China). Then Grumara picks up the very young Megan Fox impersonator by her throat, does the Grudge kid huge open mouth howl thing and then starts moving Megan Fox impersonator towards it's mouth. I don't remember anymore, mostly because I woke up covered in sweat, breathing like I had just ran 50 meters (hey, I'm outta shape, back off).

That's it. The entire dream wouldn't even make a watch-able Scooby Doo episode, but it was enough to scare me out of my sleep. It wasn't that it seemed real to me, either. I've had dreams that seemed much realer than this one (see purple, pink, green midget witch at beginning of post), but this one made me sweat. Another thing, generally when I have these kinds of dreams, I've just watched a horror flick of some kind or another but I haven't watched any in nearly 3 years. Anyway, I'm off to bed now, if today's dream is a rerun, I'll try to stay asleep and see if Megan Fox impersonator gets eaten and I'll report back to you tomorrow.
