My cat likes to be out of reach when he sleeps, so he's found a new place to do it.
The back of the couch is 25 inches high, the closet is 7 feet 2 inches tall (86 inches), and the couch is 27 inches away from the closet:
(86 - 25)² + 27² = C² ... 3721 + 729 = 4450 ... √4450 = 66.7 inches or 5 feet 6.7 inches.
That's a pretty good little jump for a cat that's 26 inches long and about 9 inches tall.
