Snowboarding

Sunday, I went snowboarding. It was only my second time, and it hurt ... a lot! I did fairly well for the first half of the day, I fell down a lot, but I didn't fall too hard. The second half of the day, I went down ... and I went down hard. My friend that joined me on this trip told me that after my board caught and my board left the snow, I was airborne. Looking back on the fall, everything seemed to be in slow motion. I remember wondering, after my board left the snow, where's the ground. Unfortunately, I did find it ... and hard. First, I landed on my tail bone, bounced a little, and then landed on my head. I wasn't too worried about landing on my head, not much up there to hurt anyway Tongue but my butt, any damage done to that would be like putting a cigar out on the Mona Lisa Cool Did I ever mention how modest I am? All in all, I had a really good time. As I wrote last time, I enjoy a challenge and learning new things ... skiing was neither and consequently getting really boring. It's been 2 days since this trip, I'm still really sore and stiff, but if I were asked to go again tomorrow (and I didn't have to work), I would go ... this time I think I'll just strap a pillow to my ass.
