I tried to transfer to some money to the US today through Western Union, and the China Post teller gave me some rules I really don't like.
- I have to give the teller USD ($$), I can't transfer CNY to USD at the station during the process. However, if I was a Chinese citizen, I could do this, no questions asked.
- Bills have to be in pristine condition.
Seriously, this bill (below) wasn't in good enough condition for Western Union rep working at China Post.
